Who Does the Clinic Serve?

In the spirit of Christ, Cathedral Free Clinic welcomes all people who are uninsured, or underinsured, for the purpose of providing primary health care services, prescription drug assistance and health education.  At this time, people with commercial insurance, Medicaid and/or Medicare are not eligible for free medical services at Cathedral Free Clinic.  

ALL PEOPLE are welcome to come and receive spiritual care offered by our volunteers who are available to pray and offer spiritual support during clinic hours. 

MEDICAL CLINIC ELIGIBILITY:

  1.  Patients must be between the ages of 18-64;
  2. Individuals, or families, living at or below 250% of the Federal Poverty guidelines, adjusted annually, based on family size are eligible to receive medical care at Cathedral Free Clinic. 
  3. Patients should be uninsured or have inadequate coverage for the services required.

THOSE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR CLINIC SERVICES:

  • Children who have insurance or are eligible for Medicaid.  
  • Individuals with Medicaid, Medicare, or Veteran’s Assistance coverage.
  •  Individuals suffering from work-related injuries involving Workmen’s Compensation.
  •  Individuals seeking controlled substances or weight loss medications.
  •  Individuals seeking work physicals / DOT physicals
  •  The clinic may provide short-term assistance to those awaiting approval for Medicaid, Medicare or other state or federal assistance.

What are the costs of care?

All services provided by Cathedral Free Clinic are given free of charge.  Nobody will be turned away because of their inability to pay. Cathedral Free Clinic does not bill for any services rendered onsite.
